We feel, as Alumnae Members, that it is our responsibility to provide opportunities for collegians
to benefit from membership in Alpha Sigma Alpha. We do this by having chapter members who work
individually with area collegiate chapters to build relationships, attend their events, and offer
any type of assistance the collegians may ask for.
Even though we have graduated from college, we can remember the strain of having to pay chapter dues on top of tuition, books, etc. We felt that as an Alumnae Chapter, we could support a few collegians (selected on the basis of the application and membership vote) by offering an award to assist in paying chapter dues. In addition, we wanted to encourage Senior members to join an Alumnae Chapter and continue their involvement in ΑΣΑ. Our chapter also offers an award to selected graduating seniors that allow them to join an ΑΣΑ Alumnae Chapter of their choice and their first year dues (up to $35) are on us! We are proud to offer these two type of awards to area collegians as we are one of the few Alumnae Chapters that does so. We believe it allows us to live up to our purpose of "Developing Women of Poise & Purpose." Application 
Eligibility- Collegiates of Alpha Sigma Alpha who are in the Mid-Michigan area (currently, Beta Theta, Delta Nu-B & Delta Sigma collegiate members). Amount of Award- For under class women it is $150.00, which will be applied to the following academic year sorority dues. For seniors the amount is $35.00 which would be applied to chapter dues of the alumnae group she joins, along with a certificate and gift.
